Today is a beautiful day! The sun is coming up and the skies are painted with color. Somewhere in this world there is a beautiful sunrise right now, and simultaneously on the other side of the planet earth, a beautiful sunset! Every minute of every day, this is going on. From the beginning.
Like a persons fingerprint, every one is different. My small brain has a fairly good imagination, but I cannot grasp the concept of infinity. I can only conceive that this is far above my imagination or reasoning. Maybe the artist of the sunrise and sunset has placed his signature on his work.
I read an interesting article on the internet this morning about the health benefits of being awed. I guess that I am easily awe struck, and it turns out that it is good for me. The definition of awe cited in the article was: the emotion we feel in response to something vast that defies our existing frame of reference in one area or another, and leads us to change our perception of that frame of reference.
I can't wrap my mind around it. Beyond my reasoning. I just stare at or contemplate something in utter amazement. Those would be my simpler definitions.
So, if you ever catch me just staring blankly at a tiny spiders massive engineering feat with the early morning dew shooting rainbows of light off of it, don't worry about me, I am just improving my health.
If I had a bumper sticker, it might read:
" I would rather be in my studio "
I enjoy sharing my journey with others and sharing in others journeys. I may get into a routine of attending to my Website, Facebook, Etsy, and Instagram accounts each morning, and I will probably enjoy it once I get past the learning process. It is like going back to school for me. Learning to navigate and utilize each app is time consuming and for me, not much fun.
I would rather be in my Studio. Making Something!
I wish you a good day. I think that I will now go out to my shop and play.
I open this blog today, with hope that I will meet many others who share the same love for nature, and who are inspired by nature to create. Art. Beauty.
Making a living, with wood since 1978. Only enjoy it more today than ever before. I love nature, the beauty found in creation. I am thankful to be able to do what I enjoy.
